1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell’s French onion soup 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup bread crumbs
a quarter teaspoon of salt
to taste, 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
ketchup, 1/4 cup
1 to 3 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (to taste)
1 tablespoon mustard powder
14 cup of water
Make it as follows:
Combine 1/3 cup condensed French onion soup, ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
Form into six oval patties.
Brown both sides of the patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Remove any excess fat.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the flour and remaining soup until smooth.
Combine ketchup, water, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard powder in a mixing bowl.
Pour over the meat in the skillet.
Cover, and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
